West Coast Quilt Judging Academy


In conjunction with the West Coast Quilt Judging Academy, APWQ is pleased to present A Course in Judging Quilts and Wearable Art at the 2013 Pacific West Quilt Show. WCQJA's mission is to educate, train, and prepare students for the judging arena through the Pathway Judging Method. A strong foundation is provided in all aspects of the Pathway method, with focus on knowledge, professionalism, and compassion in the judging of quilts and wearable art. WCQJA graduates will be able to enter the judging arena with confidence in their ability to competently and fairly judge all entries.

Location: Greater Tacoma Convention & Trade Center

Registration Fee: $475.00
(Course fee does not include cost of lodging, food or transportation.)

Registration Fee Includes:
• Three days of instruction in Judging Quilts and Wearable Art taught by experienced professional quilt judges
• A multi-day admission pass for the 2013 Pacific West Quilt Show
• Upon fulfillment of course requirements, successful students will receive a West Coast Quilt Judging Academy diploma of graduation, your name added to the WCQJA published list of professionally trained judges and a West Coast Quilt Judging Academy pin.
